Why does an empty rectangle appear on the page where the audio play-bar should be, when using Netscape?
Check that the QuickTime control panel shows version 4.1.2 is installed. Check that the plug-ins folder for Netscape contains QuickTime plug-in version 4.X. Then test whether the audio works within Internet Explorer. If it functions within Internet Explorer then you probably have a Netscape problem. If it’s a Netscape problem, delete the ‘Netscape Preferences’ file.
