Why does British sport media concentrate so much on the ups and downs of Chelsea FC?
To be fair they don’t, they concentrate on the biggest story at the moment! if it wasn’t for Scolari’s sacking the media would be all over the sacking of Tony Adams, but because Chelsea are the bigger team Portsmouth only get a few column inches whereas Chelsea get full double page spreads, a few weeks ago all the media talked about was the ramblings of a madman at Liverpool and how he had blown the title race but after one win (which coincidently got Adams the sack) everything is now fine so they have moved on to the next story which just happens to be Chelsea in a few weeks if Man United make a couple of slip ups it’ll all be about them blowing the title or if City continue to struggle it’ll all be about Hughes possibly getting the sack!
