Why does conditioner make my hair feel dry and brittle?
Hi I also have this problem with most conditoners, my hair is really dry and brittle as I do use heat etc, and if I use conditoners for dry hair they make my hair 10x worse, yet if I just use a condioner for normal hair my hair is softer and its even more softer if I just use shampoo, its really knotty and I cannot get thorught it but once dry its lovely soft and shiny, however because I do use heat etc I still use conditoner to try and keep it from being so dry but I think its just habbit. Its because of the chemicals in the condioner that is too harsh for out hair and drys it out too much, or it could even be the scent, have you tried the simple make condtioner as that is fregrance free, but if you can get away with not using condtioner then dont my mum never used to use it and her hair was fine.
