Why does Monash think a Virtual Learning Environment is important?
Creating a Virtual Learning Environment at Monash means harnessing the combined powers of the online learning platform Moodle, the Google Apps for Education Suite, the ePortfolio software Mahara and Monash’s Virtual Research Environment. But, more importantly, it means opportunities for staff and student education in learning technologies, and research that develops learning technologies for both today and tomorrow.
