Why does my norton phishing filter keep getting turned off aftr installing internet explorer 8?
Hi Tracy, This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support team. Internet Explorer 8 was just recently released and is currently compatible with all 2009 Norton products. If you are using a 2006-2008 version Norton Internet Security or Norton 360 version 1 or 2, and have a valid subscription, you should take advantage of the free update to the 2009 version. If you are using a 2009 version of Norton Internet Security or Norton 360 version 3, manually run LiveUpdate, possibly multiple times, until it informs you that there are no more updates available. You should then restart your computer for the updates to be applied correctly. If you do need to update to either Norton Internet Security 2009 or Norton 360 version 3, please visit the Norton Update Center at the link below. Please NOTE, that while this process will update your software to the latest version, it will not extend your subscription.
