fish don’t get oxygen strait from the bubbles they get it from the water oxygen is introduced into the water when the bubble reaches the top and pops breaking the surface tension of the water allowing oxygen to enter so i doubt that your running low on oxygen you should check the temp of you water if its over 80 then low oxygen could be a strong possibility depending on how many fish are in the tank but if not then he might just like how it feels kinda like a message
