Why does Ricky Hatton keep running away from Witter?
As shallow as the 140 lb division is, he really only has 3 options Witter, Malignaggi and Torres Witter has earned his spot, and should by rights, be fighting Hatton next. Malignaggi however is a more likely opponent as Hatton will probably continue his campaign in America. Torres, also has a title and is best known as “the guy that knocked down Cotto” A fourth option is of course Gavin Rees, but let’s be honest Hatton already has sparring partners. After getting KOed I don’t think Hatton should jump right into any of the three I made noteworthy, Rees may in fact be the best option as it would be an easy confidence-building win AND would get him a title.
