Why does SCR ask for donations?
It would be great if we didn’t have to! The truth is that ticket sales do not cover the cost of putting on an outstanding show and running a theatre. They only cover about 65 percent of SCR’s total annual budget. We want to keep tickets affordable. We need to raise money to make up the difference between our expenses and the earned income of ticket sales.
