Why does SemTalk not use a “classical” database / repository?
SemTalk documents are Visio Documents. They can be send by mail, versioned and saved as any other Office document. Using SemTalk you can work offline while making interviews. Instead of using a client / server scenario which requires a connection to the server, SemTalk works similar to Exchange or Notes where you can replicate changes with a central document store. SemTalk relies on Semantic Web concepts to make this flexible concept possible.
