Why does the DriveBar become transparent when the drive letters are enabled in Win95 (docked state)?

A. This is a known glitch with toolbars showing text and images in early windows 95 systems. If you start using it the buttons will start to appear but that’s hardly the point. To make matters worse the problem will repeat itself every time 2xExplorer will be started, but there is a workaround. The trick is to have the same driveBar orientation in both its docked and floating states. For instance, if you have the bar docked vertically, double-click on it to make it float and then resize the mini frame window into a vertical position. Now when you re-dock the driveBar it will be properly painted, including the next time round you start the program. The procedure is similar when you have the bar docked horizontally. Note that this problem does (should) not occur for Win98/NT4 and higher.
