While years ago a people group was in a specific geographical location, today these same people groups are in our own backyards. Whether it’s the Wolof people group from west Africa in New York City or the Somalis of east Africa now having representation in Minneapolis, this releasing of the International Mission Board onto U.S. soil provides unbelievable opportunities for Gospel harvest within groups like these. This proposed change simply gives another avenue for Southern Baptists to fulfill the Great Commission with those God is sending right into our own country.
