Run ./configure –without snmp This disables full-feature JetDirect support, but locally-connected (parallel-port and USB) device support is not affected. 2. Edit lib/ptal/Makefile.in and add -DUCD_COMPATIBLE (without the quote marks) to the CFLAGS line.
