Why does the livejournal link in my profile look so messed up?

Because you’ve entered the full URL instead of just your username. The script fills in everything but your username for you, so if you put the full URL, it will end up beign doubled, like this: http://http://[ljusername].livejournal.com.livejournal.com. Edit it and replace it with only your lj username, and it will be correct.
