Why does Windows displays the “USB_IO_FAILED – Data error (cyclic redundancy check)” error message?
This error may occur when the USB cable is disconnected while the application is communicating with the USB fingerprint capture device. Verify that the USB cable is securely connected to the PC, the cable is not damages and that none of the cable wires shorted. This error is most likely occur when your application is is “Live Mode” and capturing image from USB fingerprint capture device. For Windows to properly recover from this error, you may have have to both unplug the USB fingerprint capture device and shut down your fingerprint application. After you plug in the USB fingerprint capture device you can restart your fingerprint application.
