Why doesn’t MixIn for Facebook get the Friends in the native address book?

0

If you have an Android 2.0-based phone, it includes a Facebook.com application that adds Facebook Friends as contacts to the native phone address book. However, it does not permit the Asurion Mobile AddressBook to read those Facebook Friends contacts at this time. The Asurion Mobile MixIn for Facebook can still collect your Friends from your Facebook account and match them to your existing phone contacts, just as it does for Android 1.6-based phones. But it cannot see any contacts added by the native Facebook.com app. If you add Facebook Friends to your AddressBook manually, the MixIn for Facebook can find and match them.
