Why doesn SynLube Lube-4-Life come in several VISCOSITY Grades?

0

The synthetic base stock used in SynLube Lube-4-Life naturally has better low-temperature flow characteristics than conventional engine oil. This results in the SAE 5W grade, which provides easier starting and faster oil flow characteristics than an SAE 10W or SAE 15W grades. Therefore SynLube Lube-4-Life can be used in all Winter applications down to 40C (- 40F). With the excellent film strength of the synthetic-based stock, tuned additive package, and colloidal solids, SynLube Lube-4-Life offers the advantages of better low-temperature performance and improved fuel economy — while also providing better lubrication protection at extremely hot engine operating conditions than a conventional lubricant of other SAE viscosity grades. Since SAE 5W-50 SynLube Lube-4-Life is superior in performance to all conventional petroleum and synthetic lubricants in all other SAE viscosity grades we offer only one grade – the best one.
