Why doesn the i730 automatically reconnect to the wireless access point/router?
• The i730 does perform an automatic reconnection if the wireless access point/router you are using broadcasts the SSID. At that point the handset can exchange preamble and obtain the SSID in the history list of access points. • The i730 does not automatically reconnect to a wireless access point/router that does not broadcast the SSID. Unlike regular laptops, Pocket PC devices do not actively seek non-broadcasting SSID due to limited power.
