Why don’t Atheists believe in God?
Atheists are not an organised lot, there is no central Atheist movement, and thus there are a lot of differing answers to this question. Some do not believe simply because there is no proof or evidence for the existence of any sort of higher being. Some do not believe for they find the existence of higher being fundamentally illogical bordering on the non-sensical. In many ways, Atheists tend to follow facts and data rather than fairy tales, myths and legends.
