Why don I recognise the destination of some of my calls?
When you place a mobile call your phone connects to the nearest available mobile base station. This can be many kilometres away. This station is recorded as the origin of your call and is not necessarily the actual location where you made the call.I have used my mobile overseas but no charges have shown on the Tax Invoice Call charges are billed to your Optus account in Australia. It may take 2 months for the overseas carrier to pass on the charges incurred. NOTE: For calls made outside Australia, Australian GST will not apply.
