Why don neighboring cities and towns provide homeless support (such as Stonington, Mystic, Old Lyme, etc.)?
The Covenant Shelter has no place in state governance that decides how one town or city provides assistance to the homeless population over another town or city. Rather, the Covenant Shelter was simply established to provide assistance to those in need of housing. We welcome assistance from most any source, regardless of city or town affiliation.
