Why don some HTML commands work?

Unfortunately, AIM only supports the most basic HTML commands. such as b(old), i(talic), u(nderline), hr (line rule), and a few others (such as links). Things such as images, movies, tables and frames are not supported. Unfortunately, AOL blocked the use of our advanced code, so currently you cannot use all the HTML commands you want. We’re working on a work around and will let you know as soon as we find it!
