Why don’t the holes in the center mounting tab of my Ford F150 Chrome Hood Product line up with the holes in the hood once the grill is removed?

These holes that you see in the product are only used for the chrome plating process, it is only by coincidence that they are close, but not able, to line up with the holes in the hood. The product will mount properly by lining up the cut-outs in the product around the locating pins on the grill.
