Yes you should discourage the 5 month old from doing this. The 5 month old does not require milk anymore. A female cat that is not fixed can reproduce milk anytime (pregnant, nursing or none of these) however like everything…there is a LIMITED source. She has to reserve this milk for her newborn. If the 5 month old is becoming a problem then you should consider keeping him/her in a seperate room when you are not home and allowing him to come out only when you are supervising him/her. The 5 month old will start becoming fat since he/she is drinking milk and eating food at the same time. This is way too many calories for a kitten.
