As mum looks healthy and theyre both purring like lawnmowers I wouldnt be too concerned but it would be an idea to check with your vet just in case its depleting mum of some vitamins or something. Might just be a case of supplementing her diet a little. Years ago my cats litter of kittens stopped feeding at 6 weeks after their mum had enough (she literally battered the hell out of them if they dared try!!) but the one cat (a male) would suckle at anything that remotely resembled a teat…The red motif on my shirt was one of his faves…he lived to a good old age still suckling.
