Why holiday in Greece?
In the summertime Greece is a marvel of cloudless skies, bleaches beaches, memorable monuments and endless historical truth and legends, while locals are generally friendly and English language is not a problem. Greek transportion, land or see, is mostly modern, works well and is not expensive. Athens, Crete and Meteora will satisfy the need to view stunning ancient sites, while Halkidiki, the Greek Islands and the sparkling waters will pleasure beach seekers. But beware, prices are not very cheap, seafood offerings can be disappointing, particularlyif you’re surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea at that point, while city suburbs are as overbuilt and underattractive as anywhere in Europe.
