A Las Vegas woman is accused of killing her son by denying him medical treatment for a chronic kidney disease. Police said Anderson told them her son had been sick for three weeks and, despite being treated with antibiotics, Atkins was not fully recovering. LAS VEGAS — The coroner’s office has released the name of the woman who died from a stab wound to the neck in Bally’s Hotel-Casino lobby on Friday. The death of Talesha Jamerson, 24, residence unknown, has been ruled a homicide. A Milwaukee woman surrendered to police after she was accused of the fatal stabbing, Metro police said. Latrovia Reed, 23, was booked on murder and prostitution charges, police said. She is accused of pulling a knife and stabbing Jamerson just inside the valet entrance at Bally’s. Officer Jose Montoya said Jamerson collapsed just outside the valet entrance at Bally’s. She was transported to Sunrise Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after the 6 a.m. Friday attack. Homicide detectives determined Jamerson was in the company of two other women when they walked into Bally’s arguing. One of the women stabbed her and fled. None of the women was a guest at the hotel. Both the victim and the assailant were prostitutes for the same pimp, said Metro police
