Taken From Adobe’s Website: 5. Using Reader with Netscape Navigator Use Netscape Navigator 3.01 or later, which supports all Reader 3.0 features, to view PDF files inside the browser window. Although you can use Reader 3.0 with Navigator 2.0, it does not support all Reader 3.0 features (e.g., PDF forms). During installation, Reader 3.0 installs the Nppdf32.dll file (Windows 95 or Windows NT), or the Nppdf16.dll file (Windows 3.1x), into the Netscape Navigator plug-ins folder. These files enable Reader 3.0 to display PDF files in the Navigator browser window, instead of opening a separate Reader window. You do not need to set up Navigator 3.0 to recognize Reader 3.0 as a helper application. If you have multiple versions of Navigator installed, make sure the appropriate plug-in file (i.e., Nppdf32.dll or Nppdf16.dll) is installed in the plug-ins folder for the version of Navigator you’ll be using.
