Alexis Cohen, the former American Idol contestant known as “Glitter Girl,” has been killed. According to My Fox News NY, Alexis Cohen, 25, was found dead Saturday morning at around 4 a.m Alexis Cohen, American Idol Contestant, Killed by Hit-And-Run Driver on a street in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Two passersby allegedly saw Alexis Cohen’s lifeless body lying in the street and called the authorities. The Ocean County prosecutors office believes that Alexis Cohen may have been the victim of a hit-and-run driver. Alexis Cohen appeared on two seasons of the wildly popular American Idol. Her first appearance aired on January 15, 2008 (season 7) and though the judges were somewhat impressed with her singing ability, they were not impressed enough to send her through to the Hollywood rounds of the competition.
