As per Sikkh tradition baisakhi is celebration for: 1. Guru Nanak Devji was born in 1469 on this day. 2. On this day in 1699, Sri Guru Gobind Singhji the tenth master transformmed Sikkhs into Singhs by baptizing them with Khande-ka-Pahaul. 3.
