Ocella is a marketed by Barr Pharmaceuticals which is owned by Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries, LTD (NASDAQ: TEVA). These companies continue to market these products. As publicly traded companies they file quarterly and annual reports which indicate these continue to be amongst their biggest sellers generating huge profits. Bayer will fund and manage Barr/Teva litigation regarding the generic version of Yasmin sold by Barr/Teva known as Ocella Birth Control Pills.
