Why is Campbells soups so watery?

0

Most of Campbell’s soup products are “condensed” soups; the end-user is intended to mix them with an equal amount of water before heating them up. Personally, I prefer to eat them straight. I like my soup thick and rich with lots of flavor, and I see no point in diluting it so that I have to consume twice as much volume to get the same nourishment. I imagine there’s a fairly wide range of personal tastes and preferences, which can be met by varying the amount of water you add — if any at all — to a can of Campbell’s soup. If you find that soup prepared according to the label instructions is too watery for your taste, then add less water, or none at all. If you like it thinner and more watery, then add more water.
