Why is Cowboy Orientation mandatory?
Cowboy Orientation is mandatory because we want you to succeed. Research strongly suggests that if you attend orientation, you are more likely to achieve success in college and GRADUATE. New Mexico Highlands University is committed to helping you succeed – both in and out of the classroom. Cowboy Orientation is mandatory for all incoming freshmen and strongly encouraged for all transfer students.
