Why is it important for children to learn a foreign language?
Learning a foreign language at any age is important. However, children are able to grasp and retain a second language more easily during the years of birth to twelve. During this time, children are able to process an enormous amount of new information because their brains are developing at rapid rates. That is why it is vital that children are exposed to a second language during their early years.
