Why is it recommended to format disk using the Nagra V?
There are many ways to format FAT disk. The Nagra V’s FAT disk format is optimised for maximum disk size and large file management. Fat disk formats made by other operating systems are usually optimised for small files (cluster sizes smaller than 32kB). Some operating systems also keep some previous data while formatting. Formatting with the Nagra V will ensure you that the disk is clean and remains a format easily managed by the Nagra V.
