Why is it that when PBS feeds a program nationally, WGBY doesn air it until a later date?

It often happens that PBS will send us a program via satellite at a time when we have our regular series lineup scheduled (as do many other stations). In these cases, we usually find a broadcast slot at a later date to air the program. However, the producers of the program may mistakenly promote the SATELLITE FEED date and time as the broadcast date and time. In addition, there are many more programs fed by PBS and other distributors than there are hours in the day, so we cannot air all the programs available to us. We rely on viewer input to help us decide which programs we should air on WGBY.
