Lo Han, shortened from Lo Han Kuo (plant name: Siratia grosvenorii) is a member of the cucumber and melon family. Used for centuries as a sweetener in China, Lo Hans sweetening ingredients, mogrosides, are 300 times sweeter than sucrose when extracted with water and dried.
