Why is my aloe vera plant dying?

The problem is not too much light or too much heat. As an indoor plant, Aloes need as much direct sunlight as possible. When moved outside they do need some protection from direct sunlight, but that is not your situation. The proper way to water any potted plant is to wait until the soil is appropriately dry and then water it thoroughly. Never apply a little bit of water every day. If the “little bit” is too little, then the lower roots will never receive any water. If the “little bit” is too much, then the daily watering will never allow the soil to dry out properly and the roots will rot. The symptoms in either case are similar. Allow the soil of your Aloe to dry out almost to the very bottom of the pot before you add any water. Do not repot, disturb the roots or fertilize your plant right now. It is ailing and the less done to it the better. Your best chance of getting it to recover is to let the soil dry out. This recovery will take some time, so be patient.
