Why is my custom content for Sims 2 not showing up?
1. Run Bodyshop once or create a folder called Downloads inside My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\ yourself. If you have Vista, you’re on your own there, because it has a different folder structure for documents. Do not put the folder in Program Files and do not in any way, shape or form touch any of the game files inside Program Files. 2. Download the custom content you want. If it’s from MTS2 (as you said) it will be in either RAR or Zip format. Use WinRAR (or WinZip) to unpack the files so that you are left with either .package files or Sims2Pack files. 3. Put any files with the extension .package into the Downloads folder you created in step 1. And it has to have a capital D or it won’t work. 4. Double click any sims2pack files and they will automatically install themselves. 5. Fire up the game. When you get the pop-up with the custom content list, click the radio button to enable custom content. When you get to the neighborhood chooser, exit the game. 6. Fire up the game for the se
