Why is SysMan Station complaining that the SysMan Station Authentication daemon is not running on Tru64 UNIX?

The SysMan Station Authentication daemon normally starts automatically when the system boots but when SDK v 1.3.1-4 or 1.3.1-5 is installed it will fail to start at boot time. This is only a problem at boot time and can be remedied by starting the daemon manually when logged in as root. Perform the following command as root to start the daemon: /sbin/init.d/smauth restart You may also wish to install SDK v 1.3.1-6 if you will be using SysMan Station frequently. This problem has been fixed in SDK v 1.3.1-6; the daemon is started correctly at boot time.
