Why is the book called “Of Mice and Men” ?
The book “Of Mice and Men” was written by Steinberg and it was published in 1937. The setting was California, and it was about two displaced migrant workers. There is a saying, the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. Robert Burns poem “To A Mouse” in 1786 was the inspiration for the book.
