Why is the Cozy Warming Polar Bear warming pouch being recalled?
Avon is voluntarily recalling the warming pouch of the Cozy Warming Polar Bear, sold between July 2007 and February 2008. The warming pouch that is inserted into the product can overheat and ignite when heated in a microwave oven, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers. Cozy Warming Polar Bear is a white plush bear with a red hat and approximately 17 long. The product includes a separate buckwheat filled pouch that is heated in a microwave oven and then inserted into the plush bear.
