Why is the ice machine not producing ice?
If the ice machine has just been started, it will take 6 hours before there will be any ice in the bin. A typical ice production cycle can take up to 1 1/2 hours; initial start-up cycles can be longer. Check the bin after 24 hours for ice accumulation. Make sure the rocker switch on the grille of the ice machine is in the ON position. Check the water line to make sure it is on and there are no restrictions or kinks. The room temperature may be too warm. Move the ice machine to an area where temperature is below 80 degrees F. Refer to your Owner’s Guide for other possible causes and follow instructions given.
