Why is there a stabilising backing?

Fabric can move a great deal when being drawn or painted. Without the stabilising backing, colouring in your shirt can be extremely difficult and tiresome for little hands. Our patent pending stabilising backing holds the fabric flat and in place while you colour it in. It also stops it from creasing which can cause ugly lines as excess ink accumulates on them. The result is a more evenly coloured shirt than if the backing was not in place.
