Why is there still poverty in the world?
Poverty will always exist. Mainly due to poverty being a matter of opinion. Hypothetically let’s say every person now has a roof over their head, food in the fridge, electricity, clean water, etc. Now say 20% of those people buy cheap food, don’t have air con and have a small TV. The remaining 80% have these things. Because the 20% is the minority and aren’t as well off as the majority, the 20% will be classified as living in poverty. In the world as we know it, poverty as in not having food to eat, etc. isn’t as easy as you’d think. These people are poor for a reason. Generally a country’s economy, government and even climate can affect the standard of living for their people. If a country’s economy is poor and running in deficit then that country obviously can’t afford to implement things such as welfare, infrastructure, etc. There are many things to consider, you’ll never fix the problem.
