My best guess is that that is not the correct driver and/or that is not the correct wireless that is actually in your laptop. Dell uses different items in the same run of similar model numbers. You might have simply chosen the wrong one. Try using your service tag number to locate the correct driver or experiment with other drivers to see if you can find one that works for you. http://support.dell.com/support/download…
