Why isn file (insert filename here) showing up properly?
95% of the time your browser is not set up properly. If you have not assigned a program to read mov files, when you try to view a clip it will look like garbled text. The simple fix is to install the FULL version QuickTime 4.0, which is available at http://quicktime.apple.com. Don’t try to view the movie clips with media player once you have installed QT4, as it will not work. You HAVE to use the QuickTime plug in or movie player. Another common problem is that people click on a link and it looks like absolutely nothing happens. In actuality, the file was probably downloaded to your hard drive, and all you need to do is find out where the default download directory is. However, we will occasionally make mistakes with our links. In this case you will see the error page, which will give a 404 and state that the file was not found. If this happens to you, send the proper staff member an e-mail and tell us EXACTLY where the broken link is. We will try to fix it ASAP.
