That bridge is 23 miles long (38 km) and it cost $30million US more than 50 years ago and the distance between east and west Malaysia is 500 miles (800 km) At nearly 1 million American dollars per mile the bridge would cost more than $500million US, which is approximately Rm1,500million, or 1 thousand 500 Million ringgits. It would take investors hundreds of years to see any sort of financial returns on their money, which clearly isn’t going to happen..
