Why ORB fittings and better then Taper Pipe (NPT) when it comes to fuel systems?

For the record we would just like to state that NPT thread fittings have absolutely no right being used on a fuel system in a performance vehicle. OK, that said we do realize there are some applications where this cannot be avoided. For example, most fuel pressure sensors interface via a 1/8″NPT port. But it still follows that the fewer and smaller NPT ports you use in your fuel system the better.
