why religion is fake?
There’s some truth to that movie, but the 2nd and 3rd parts are more accurate. I’ve heard some legitimate criticisms about part 1 from others in the field. Zeitgeist and some other works led me to go deeply into comparative religion and the origins of human symbols (I’m still studying it), and I found that there are many other viewpoints on this. It certainly appears that the symbols and stories in the bible are not original… that much is not debated… but there are several different schools of thought on the origins and connections. “Religion is fake” is not the most eloquent way of putting it… it’s a bit more complex, and Zeitgeist doesn’t even brush the surface of this controversy. I think it would be more accurate to say that modern religions (as we know them) are corrupted variants of the same original set of esoteric or “divine” knowledge, which is older than recorded history. I think that original knowledge has been hidden from us and used to control us, but it is not fake,
