Why research-based strategies?

0

Research-based strategies and programs have demonstrated effectiveness for student learning. NCLB and IDEA 2004 both require use of scientifically-based curricula and interventions. Tier 1 includes EVERY child in the classroom, no matter what their needs may be. In this tier, all students receive the core program. Students that may require interventions at the Tier 2 or Tier 3 levels should not receive the interventions during Tier 1 instruction.
